What is Clinical Supervision?

Clinical supervision is a structured, supportive process that promotes ethical, reflective, and evidence-based practice. It provides a safe space for clinicians to discuss their clinical work, strengthen professional judgement, and maintain wellbeing, helping clinicians grow in skill and confidence across all career stages, reducing feelings of professional isolation and supporting clinical governance in organisations.

How is supervision structured?

Sessions are typically one hour and can be held weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending on your needs and level of experience. We use a collaborative, person-centred approach, drawing on supervision models such as reflective practice, strengths-based frameworks, and adult learning principles. Supervision is provided in both individual and group formats.

What topics can we cover in supervision?

Common topics include ethical dilemmas, working through challenging clinical cases, managing burnout, scope of practice, boundaries, communication, clinical reasoning, or navigating team dynamics. It’s shaped by your needs.

A supervision agreement and plan are developed at the start of supervision and regularly reviewed to ensure your goals are being met and the supervision continues to align with your evolving professional needs.

Can supervision count toward professional development or registration requirements?

Absolutely. Clinical supervision is recognised as a valuable part of CPD by most professional bodies. We ensure that we keep formal documentation of hours and topics covered for your records.

How much does clinical supervision cost?

Fees for clinical supervision vary depending on the length and format of the sessions (e.g. individual, group, or organisation-based). We’re happy to provide a quote based on your specific needs.

We offer flexible options to suit individual clinicians, teams, and organisations and packages are available for ongoing support.

We’re also happy to tailor a package that meets your specific professional goals and context. Please note that clinical supervision is offered to meet the minimum recommended frequency set by professional associations.

Please contact us directly to discuss options and pricing that best suit your goals and context.
